We have a number of systems for the management of breeders, such as our automated SPECHT Laying Nest. Measures have been taken here to create an environment appropriate to the welfare of the animals, having chosen materials which promote acceptance. We also have artificial insemination conveyor systems to ensure efficient hatched egg production.

Floor Management Systems for Laying Hens

The automatic SPECHT laying nest is suitable especially for keeping of parent birds and laying hens. The selection of materials and forms focused particularly on the well-being and the good acceptance by the animals. Alternatively, the nest can be equipped with a manure pit and perches.

Belt Laying Battery for Parent Stock

Thanks to the artificial insemination the hatching egg production of the hens can be increased. Less dirty eggs determine a better quality of the hatched chicks. A good feed monitoring and a better overview of the birds allow an easy control. Optionally, this type of cage can be equipped with a manure drying system, with a fully automated egg collection system, a feed hopper or chain feeding system and a cross manure removal system.

Layer Parent Bird Colony Battery

The Original-SPECHT layer colony cages for layer parent stock combines the advantages of the floor system with the advantages of the cage system, so that the natural fertilization is optimized. The size of the cages allow a free and natural movement of the animals and therefore the laying performance and the egg production increases. Clean eggs, better house climate and reduced workload are some of the advantages of this system. Optionally, this type of cage can be equipped with a manure drying system, with a fully automated egg collection system, a feed hopper or chain feeding system and a cross manure removal system.
